Admission expenses

  • Admission and treatment expenses are established by health insurance laws and city ordinances. In addition, partial payments are made in accordance with the regulations of each type of medical insurance.
Note: Admission for normal delivery (childbirth) is not covered by medical insurance, so all admission expenses are to be paid by the patient.
  • For those who use a special medical treatment room, a special medical treatment room fee is added to the admission and treatment expenses.
  • Other necessary expenses during admission
    1. TV, laundromat, refrigerator, and telephone services for private rooms are available with a "TV Card". Please do not bring TVs or refrigerators into your room.
    2. Each "TV Card" costs 1,000 yen. You can purchase a TV card from vending machines located on the 1st floor and in the day rooms of each ward.
    3. The balance of the "TV Card" can be settled at the TV Card Payment Machine on the 1st floor. (Amounts less than 10 yen will not be refunded.)
    4. Earphones are necessary when watching TV. Earphones are sold at the store.
    5. There are laundromats located on each of the 8th through 14th floors.
  • Please be sure to notify the ward clerk of any changes to your health insurance card or its details during admission.
